If the answer is no, then it’s high time you learn some if you spend a lot of time on your PC or laptop as they can save tonnes of time!

Keyboard shortcuts are really useful for actions you perform often.

We quite honestly couldn’t live without them anymore and because you are performing some actions multiple times a day, you get to learn them quickly and using them they become completely automatic.

Opening & closing Microsoft Office Docs

CTRL + N = Create new document

CTRL + O = Open new document

CTRL + S = Save a document

F12 = Save As

Moving text Around

CTRL + A = Select All

CTRL + X = Cut

CTRL + C = Copy

CTRL + V = Paste

Jumping through text

Shift + Arrows = Select text where cursor is placed

CTRL + Home = Move curser to start of doc

CTRL + End = Move curser to end of doc

Grabbing text

Shift + Home = Select whole line left of curser

Shift + End = Select whole line right of curser

Fixing a mistake

CTRL + Z = Undo

CTRL + Delete = Undo word after curser

CTRL + Backspace = Delete word before curser
